Cottage season is almost upon us, and I’ve finally had it with my inability to toast marshmallows over the fire anymore šŸ™ . When Kevin and I first bought our tiny cabin in the woods in 2011, roasting things over a roaring flame was, to me, by far the best part. So much so that […]

Even I’m saying “groan” about that title, I’m just off my game in the pun department this week. Which of course is not […]

Spring!!! There was a small part of me that was tempted to leave the entire blog post at that, and then maybe just have a picture of me running outside with glee and joy (we can go outside again!), but fear not dear reader, I will still regale you with my usual weekly nonsense (but […]

Le sigh. I’m in need of better puns, I’ve most definitely gotten lazy of late. Anyhow, obviously I wanted to make something in honour of Easter. About Amber

Amber Profile

Hi, I'm Amber Trudeau. Ā I bake.... a lot.

I'm also vegan, and found that whenever I went out to a restaurant my dessert choices were limited to sorbet, sorbet, and sorbet. Ā So I started making my own desserts. I wanted them to taste good though - so my ultimatum was to make delicious desserts that also happen to be dairy-free and egg-free. Every week or so, I challenge myself to try something new. Ā To recreate some kind of traditional dessert that tastes amazing without using animal products.
