Archive: Dec 2015

Alright, we’ve reached the final beverages post for the month! For those of you who are anti liquid-ites, you’re terrible suffering will shortly come to an end. Now I can’t believe the first three posts were alcohol free either, but obviously at least one of these would be required to include some sort of intoxicating substance […]

Pie crust topped apple cider! What is happening here???!!! Too much crazyness!!! Is it pie? Is it cider? Finding ways to work those warm and delicious flavours into all possible things never gets old or boring. The marriage of gingerbread and hot chocolate therefore just seemed meant […]

About Amber

Amber Profile

Hi, I'm Amber Trudeau.  I bake.... a lot.

I'm also vegan, and found that whenever I went out to a restaurant my dessert choices were limited to sorbet, sorbet, and sorbet.  So I started making my own desserts. I wanted them to taste good though - so my ultimatum was to make delicious desserts that also happen to be dairy-free and egg-free. Every week or so, I challenge myself to try something new.  To recreate some kind of traditional dessert that tastes amazing without using animal products.
